Peachy’s Puffs: Original Candy & Cigarette Company in SF

In the New Year, I have taken on the role of booking agent/social media marketer for Peachy’s Puffs, the original candy and cigarette company in SF!  I’ve enjoyed carrying the trays filled with candy at corporate and private parties around the Bay Area, but it is cool to now be on dealing with the business side of the company.

Peachy D’Ambrosio, the founder of Peachy’s Puffs, established the company in 1988, calling her cigarettes “puffs” and adding her first name, hence the name Peachy’s Puffs was born.

Modeling

Yesterday, I was contacted by a fashion collaboration site by the name of FStop.FM to be featured as a model.  The site is similar to Model Mayhem, where agencies and brands can interact and collaborate with makeup artists, models, photographers, etc…  I like that the blog has an Instagram type of feed where artists can post new projects and agencies can advertise.  If you want to sign up, be sure to use my profile link: https://www.fstop.fm/#p/Kkarr.  Happy trails to you!

Prescott College Dance Reunion Weekend!

This past weekend in Prescott, Arizona was truly magical!  I enjoyed dancing with fellow alumni at the Prescott College dance reunion weekend.  I stayed with 3 different alumni and ate awesome organic vegetarian food!  Dance has been a major part of my life since I was young.  I grew up taking ballet, modern, tap, and jazz at Dance Innovations in Chatham, NJ.  I did a lot of performances at nursing homes and benefits and some competitions.  One summer, I spent time in Philly at the University of the Arts doing a summer intensive program, which was amazing.  The Prescott College program gave me the tools to be creative and improvise on the spot with movement and Dance Innovations gave me the technical foundation to perform, which is so essential to the art of learning dance.  Peachy’s Puffs, the candy/cigarette company I work for in SF, is hiring vintage dancers to do the Lindy Hop and Charleston during the holiday season, which I’m thrilled about!  Since this past weekend in Arizona, I’m looking forward to taking classes at the Arthur Murray studio!   Stay tuned for more posts!  ❤ ❤ ❤

New Kicks!

How I love shopping at Nirvana in Westfield, NJ!  Bought a pair of camo Kim Zozi Hippie Bling sneaks on their 70% off sale!  These kicks have neat silver chains on the backs of the them and silver lining by the laces.  Gonna strut down the hot pavement in the East Village tomorrow in these bad boys and see my friend Geoff’s punk rock band Gillian at Arlene’s Grocery!

Shoe Shopping in the Big Apple!

Hot muggy day in the Big Apple…  A total Carrie Bradshaw idea, but how about indoor shoe shopping in air conditioning?  I scoured at beautiful crystal sandals in several shops around Times Square, since my own pair of Valentino-style nude studded sandals broke!  Ugh.  My feet got so dirty walking close to 40 blocks back to the Port Authority Bus Terminal.  How I loved the scenery around me and the street runway laid out with people strutting along in their best looks!  Finally…  A city where people know the meaning of maintaining attractiveness.  The beautiful and the proud come out to play in this fun urban jungle!  Vive la mode a New York!  Where is Bill Cunningham to snap my photo? 🙂 🙂 🙂

Jamberry Nail Lacquer and Wraps!

I discovered this magic trick at the Fanwood Ladies’ Night Out Event!  The nail lacquer bonds quickly to nails and seems to dry in less than 5 seconds!  I love the wraps I tried on too.  Cute designs and a better investment than cheapie drugstore nail wrap kits.  I tried on a zebra print design and put it in front of a mini heater, which glued the wrap to my nail.  Most drugstore kits won’t have you complete that step.  Then you file off the rest of the wrap or take a nail clipper to the design.  BOOM!  Instant sexy nails!  Visit www.jamberry.com! <3<3<3

Grand Opening of Saks Off 5th Store on Market Street!

And it was only a week ago…  Saks Off 5th opened on Market Street near the Westfield Mall and Nordstrom Rack!  Soo exciting!  The DJ was spinning Snoop’s new hit “So Many Pros” outside the store.  I perused the racks and found a Saks Gray cashmere-like baseball tee with pink sleeves that said “Cupcakes, Champagne, and Chanel.”  I just had to get it!  The other purchase was a pair of nude studded flat sandals by Saks for only $25!  My eyes popped out of my head at the sight of the price tag.  Sure beats going on BART all the way to the Livermore Premium Outlets in Pleasanton!  Come one come all to the oh so fab Saks Off 5th store in SF! <3<3<3
